Managing Customers
Customers are the people and businesses you deliver gas to. The customer management section lets you maintain profiles, track delivery addresses, and view order history.
Viewing the Customer List
Go to Customers in the sidebar. You’ll see a searchable list of all customers. Use the search bar to filter by name — results update as you type (with a short debounce delay).

Adding a New Customer
- Click Add Customer
- Fill in the customer details:

| Phone | No | Contact phone number |
| Delivery Address | No | Address with validation and geocoding |
- Click Create

Customer Tabs
Each customer has three tabs:
Overview
Shows the customer’s profile information and delivery address.

Orders
A history of all orders placed for this customer. Click any order to view its detail page.

Settings
Edit the customer’s profile details and address.

Delivery Addresses
Customer addresses are validated using the address API to ensure accuracy. When you enter an address:
- Start typing the address
- Select from the suggested matches
- The address is geocoded (latitude/longitude) automatically
Geocoded addresses appear on delivery maps and help with driver routing.

Tips
- Keep customer addresses up to date for accurate delivery maps
- Use the customer search to quickly find repeat customers when creating orders
- Review a customer’s order history to understand their purchasing patterns
