Managing Delivery Drivers

Delivery drivers are the people who fulfill your orders. You can manage their profiles, assign them to gas stations, track their locations in real-time, and generate invite codes for the driver mobile app.

Viewing the Driver List

Go to Delivery Drivers in the sidebar. The left panel shows all drivers in your organization. Click a driver to see their details on the right.

Adding a New Driver

  1. Click Add Driver
  2. Fill in the driver details:

Driver Tabs

Each driver has four tabs:

Overview

Shows the driver’s profile information and a live location map. If the driver is using the mobile app, their location updates in real-time on the map.

Assignments

Manage which gas stations this driver is assigned to. Assignments determine which stations’ orders a driver can fulfill.

Edit the driver’s profile information (name, phone, email, etc.).

Invite Codes

Generate invite codes that drivers use to link their mobile app account to your organization. Each code is single-use.

Generating Invite Codes

Invite codes let drivers self-register through the mobile app and automatically join your organization:

  1. Go to a driver’s Invite Codes tab
  2. Click Generate Invite Code
  3. Share the code with the driver
  4. The driver enters the code in the mobile app during sign-up

Real-Time Location Tracking

When a driver has the mobile app running, their location updates in real-time. You can see:

  • Current position on the map (driver overview page)
  • Active delivery status — whether the driver is currently on a delivery
  • Location on order maps — when a driver is assigned to an order, their position shows on the order detail map alongside the customer and station markers

Assigning Drivers to Orders

Drivers are assigned to orders from the order detail page. When an order is in Pending status, use the driver dropdown to select and assign a driver.

Tips

  • Generate invite codes before onboarding new drivers so they can set up the app immediately
  • Assign drivers to specific gas stations so they only see relevant orders
  • Use the live map to monitor driver locations and optimize dispatch decisions
  • Keep driver phone numbers up to date for emergency contact
