Helping Customers Sign Up

When you deliver to a customer who isn’t registered on the Giao Gas platform yet, you can help them sign up right there using a QR code. This lets them place their own orders in the future.

When to Help a Customer Sign Up

You might want to help a customer register if:

  • They ask how to order gas online next time
  • They want to track their delivery in real-time
  • They want to pay online instead of cash
  • Your admin asks you to encourage customer sign-ups

Showing the QR Code

On the order detail screen, if the customer isn’t registered yet, you’ll see an option to show a registration QR code.

  1. Tap the QR code or Sign Up button on the order screen
  2. A QR code appears on your screen with the customer’s signup link
  3. The link is pre-filled with the customer’s information from the order

Customer Registration Steps

Guide the customer through these steps:

  1. Scan the QR code — The customer opens their phone camera and scans the QR code on your screen
  2. Open the link — They tap the link to open the registration page in their browser
  3. Create an account — They enter a username, password, and optionally an email
  4. Done — Their account is created and linked to the organization

Tip: The registration link includes a token that automatically connects the customer to your organization, so they don’t need to search for it.

What the Customer Gets

After signing up, the customer can:

  • Place orders directly through the customer portal
  • Track deliveries in real-time on a map
  • Pay online using MomoPay or other payment methods
  • View order history and reorder easily

Tips

  • Keep your phone screen brightness high so the QR code scans easily
  • If the customer doesn’t have a QR scanner, they can use their phone’s built-in camera app
  • Let the customer know that signing up makes future orders faster and easier
  • If the customer has trouble scanning, they can enter the registration code manually
  • You don’t need an internet connection for the customer to scan the code, but they need one to complete registration
